This experience is designed to relax all of the senses through use of essential oils, color therapy glasses, peaceful music and tactile painting methods. In this way, we will “come to our senses” and be reminded of the feel good nature embedded in creating.
We will use artwork creation as the access point to tapping into the flow of being with the present moment, take a break from the chatters of thinking mind, and move towards sensing, feeling and being. We will do this through enjoying breathwork, guided meditations, blind drawing and acrylic painting that all flows into one cohesive experience.
This workshop is process (not product) focused, and does not require any artistic “skills”. All materials provided!

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Michael Gallagher is the founder of HeARTbreak Studios. He has completed yogic teacher training courses, has worked at a meditation studio, and devours mindfulness centered content in his free time. Michael has both experimented with art as a lifelong hobby, and has had formal art education. He left his role in the corporate world after his mother's sickness reminded him that life is short; and he wanted his life to be filled with helping others feel good. This moved him to create HeARTbreak Studios, and the business took shape as he combined his passion for art with his trust in the grounding and healing abilities of mindfulness-based exercises. His dream and intention is to remind participants how good it feels to create, and help his community use the highly accessible vehicle of art to tap into the meditative state.
