ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Michael Carter is a health and wellness coach who specializes in assisting high-functioning individuals move closer to their potential through movement, breath, and mindfulness. He has been a dedicated yogi since 2002, when a chance meeting with a yoga instructor in Washington Square Park introduced him to the yogic practice and tradition. Since then he has delved into the worlds of Hatha, Bikram, Iyengar, and Kundalini yoga. In 2012 after attending his first of many “burns” he was introduced to the rich and enlightened world of Deep House music. He found that the vibration and sound of the music spoke to an ancient part of his soul that longed to remember the forgotten. This class is dedicated to the union of these two loves, with the goal being to heal the body, create community, and raise consciousness through movement, sound, and breath.
