Integral Yoga is the ideal 60 minute yoga class, that incorporates everything a yogi would need to start their day from a centered and balanced place. 10 minutes of breathwork + 30 minutes of vinyasa flow + 10 minutes of shavasana + 10 minutes of seated guided meditation. So often we go into yoga class to achieve an outward aesthetic appeal, however, many of us forget that the point of yoga was to prepare the body for meditation. With this class our goal is to prepare the body for a deep meditation by using ancient body movements and breathing exercises passed down by the great masters.

Matthew LaPenta is a Bhakti Yoga Practitioner with a 200hr teacher certification training with Govinda Das from the Bhakti Yoga Shala in Santa Monica, California. Matthew leads yoga classes, men's workshops and kirtan jam sessions in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Matthew's teaching is a blend of the various modalities he's studied on his journey, from Peruvian Shamanism, Lakota Philosophy, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, and many more. The great respect he has for all spiritual practices allows him to understand that all rivers lead to the same ocean. Matthew serves as a guide for others to find their own way home.
