Saturday Morning Breathwork


Come as you are.

Breathwork allows us access to our own abilities to self-regulate and strengthen our nervous system — bringing us out of the fight or flight, or freeze response into a place of rest, digest, and healing. Processing the imprints on the nervous system and body we have accumulated throughout our lives, breathwork helps one integrate and learn from human experience.

Breathwork has physical, emotional, and often spiritual benefits. When we surrender into allowing our bodies to process anything it is ready and able to — we tap into our innate and deep wisdom beyond what our mind thinks it knows. By surrendering into the willingness of communicating with our wholeness in this very special way — often we crack ourselves open to a well of connection — beyond anything we can conceptualize.

Many people access a broad range of emotions, even after years of not crying or numbing. This can bring one to a place of freedom of expression, releasing creativity blocks, and feeling self-acceptance, forgiveness, and expansion.

When practicing this work in a group — we not only heal ourselves as individuals but we tap into the collective energy of the group which supports us with it's powerful container and energy running through the room. We can feel the power and necessity of coming together, to be seen, heard, and held in community.

We will do the active breathing practice laying down on mats. It is nice to have but not required: stones or crystals for your hands, an eye pillow, and a blanket.

Chelsea will be burning cedar, sharing essential oils, and have some crystals and eye pillows on hand.

*Breathwork is best done on an empty stomach, so please try not to eat for at least two hours before. 
*Please bring a yoga mat and/or blanket.

Chelsea Muehe is a Certified Breathwork Healer through the teachings of David Elliott, An Usui Reiki Master, Certified Massage Therapist, and Holistic Health Practitioner and Coach.

After experiencing three near death experiences in 2011 Chelsea found her way through her own recovery utilizing the support of holistic practitioners. Through this work she discovered she was healing trauma held in her body from her lineage and early childhood events. Embodying trauma and healing through the body has been her greatest gift and challenge of her life. It is her honor and privilege to share the modalities of healing that have transformed her life.
