One of the main purposes of asana practice is to align the systems and pathways of our body so that energy flows freely and properly. An adjustment can remove obstacles, debris, or stagnation that disrupt our body’s natural ability to be well. Understanding alignment and pranic flow is key if we are to give and receive impactful adjustments. This work will focus and nourish your relationship to your body.
Our aim is to offer you tools to understand the root of “the issue”. Where is prana not flowing? Where is it overflowing? Where are you stuck? Where do you need to contain yourself? What can we do to move towards a comfortable steadiness? We will work together to explore various asanas, to observe bodies, and to practice hands-on adjustments in order to develop skill in seeing the subtle.
This workshop is appropriate for teachers and students alike. Come with your curiosity! Over the course of three days, we will remember our intuition so that we may make well-informed, meaningful adjustments—for ourselves and others.
